Hello! Thanks for visiting my site! I am thrilled to share with you some background about me and what I do that you may find of interest. For the last 17 years I have had the opportunity to teach “Education Thru Art” classes to adults and children throughout the state of Michigan. I have recently been invited to be part of the “Michigan Arts and Humanities 2009- 2012 Touring Program. I consider this a great honor to be part of this organization. I have had the privilege to visit many school districts, colleges, boy scouts, girl scouts, clubs, organizations, businesses and... well the list goes on. My philosophy for all of my classes from cartooning to tobacco prevention is “try to learn something new, be refreshed with what you may already know, remember that no one is perfect so have fun with your uniqueness!” All classes, adult and child, are fully illustrated with cartoon examples representing the topic at hand. The illustrations give me the chance to utilize visual and cognitive learning, plus it makes people laugh and lighten up! I am an author and illustrator. Along with my own books, I have illustrated books for some wonderful authors. I live in Eaton Rapids, Michigan with my husband, two boys, a dog and a guinea pig.
